Welcome to the ninety-eighth episode of From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast! This podcast has a simple premise; examine just about every Superman comic published between Man of Steel #1 in 1986 to Adventures of Superman #649 in 2006 in an informative and hopefully entertaining format.
Part index. Part commentary. Part history lesson. All podcast.
Things return to normal this week, loyal listeners as Michael and Jeffrey tackle the first two Superman books featuring a May 1992 cover date. In Superman: The Man of Steel #11 a creature known as Flashpoint switches places with Husque and hilarity ensues. Then in Superman #67 Brainiac’s final ploy from last issue comes into play as a wave of destruction descends on Metropolis and the world. After that the boys discuss a clip episode of the Adventures of Superboy and Jeffrey tells us what else was going on in the world when these comics were on the stands and what you could have seen at the cinema.
