		<description>Although Millennium was largely over for the Super-titles by the time this month&#039;s issues hit, I found the crossover more disruptive here than in last month&#039;s stories. The tale in Superman #14, though a bit of fun, was probably unnecessary and sometimes outright silly -- and I say so despite being a fan of Hal Jordan for nearly as long as I&#039;ve been a Super-fan. Yes, Millennium should probably have remained a Green Lantern Corps storyline (rather than a DC Universe event), but it wasn&#039;t Millennium that kept Superman #14 from clicking, I think. Indeed, last month&#039;s issues worked quite well within the context of the second post-Crisis-1985 crossover. Despite Pa&#039;s boneheadedness (ugh!), I&#039;d say I prefer Action #597&#039;s Silver Age qualities over Superman #14&#039;s relative pointlessness.</description>
