DRAGON*CON 2010 PHOTOS!

And…I’m back!

After a couple of weeks of not posting much of anything I should be back to my regular posting schedule starting today.  To kick things off I thought it might be neat to post some of the pictures I took at Dragon*Con, which seems like it happened several months ago even though its only been seven days since it ended.

So check out the pictures and enjoy.  I’ll have more Dragon*Con related stuff to post later in the week.

Kal and Kara!  The Super Couple!

I found out later that she is a Steampunk Supergirl.  I liked the costume a lot.

A very cool Justice inspired Brainiac.

I saw this guy as my wife and I were heading home one night.  I thought the costume was awesome.

I mean the guy is dressed as Steel.  The old school, Reign of the Supermen costume even.

If I am remembering the conversation correctly this suit is sort of inspired by the Krypton of Superman: The Movie.  I thought it was interesting and thus I took the picture.

Steel returns.  With back up singers.

And those were the Superman related pictures I took.  I didn’t take snap many pictures this year because I was trying to have a more relaxing con experience.  Thanks to everyone that stopped and let me photograph them.

Tomorrow: YouTube Tuesday!

Dragon*Con got a write-up in the Washington Post, which is more attention than I remember it getting in this area in previous years. Makes me feel guilty for having to skip Baltimore a few weeks ago and the SPX last weekend. Ah well, there’s always next year.

Some great pictures here. I’ve also been enjoying the various Titans vs. George Perez photos I’ve been seeing on a few other sites.

I was only there for a few hours on Saturday night (since I was getting married on Monday!), and I didn’t really see many Superman-themed costumes… however, I do think that I saw that Steel costume!
