Welcome to the one hundred and second episode of From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast! This podcast has a simple premise; examine just about every Superman comic published between Man of Steel #1 in 1986 to Adventures of Superman #649 in 2006 in an informative and hopefully entertaining format.
Part index. Part commentary. Part history lesson. All podcast.
After several weeks, an anniversary episode and a bunch of e-mails things have finally calmed down at From Crisis to Crisis Studios. Jeff and Mike have enjoyed all of the fun but it was time to get back to the meat and potatoes of the show. This week the boys cover the first two Superman books bearing a June 1992 cover date. In Superman: The Man of Steel #12 the Warworld refugees make their big move on Metropolis and only a giant whale can save the day. Then in Superman #68 Lucy Lane is caught in the crossfire between the SCU and Deathstroke the Terminator, which upsets her future brother-in-law Superman. This is followed by some Adventures of Superboy discussion and the newly named Meanwhile segment where Jeffrey tells you what else was going on in the world while these books were on the stands.
If you want to comment on the show or contact the hosts you can always private message Mike and Jeff, at the Superman Homepage, leave comments here or at the Homepage or here or email them by clicking this link. All questions, concerns, fears, trepidations and cheap shots are welcome.
Next Time: June 1992 wraps up with Adventures of Superman #491, Action Comics #678 and Justice League America #63.
