FCTC EPISODE 156: MORE LOIS AND CLARK TALK

Episode 156: More Lois and Clark Talk

Welcome to the one hundred and fifty sixth episode of From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast!  This podcast has a simple premise; examine just about every Superman comic published between Man of Steel #1 in 1986 to Adventures of Superman #649 in 2006 in an informative and hopefully entertaining format.

Part index.  Part commentary.  Part history lesson.  All podcast.

This time out Mike and Jeff dive into five more episodes of the first season of LOIS AND CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN.  First up is Neverending Battle, where Lex Luthor puts Superman through a series of tests and Lois steals a story from Clark, but it’s okay because he gets back at her.  After that is I’m Looking Through You, an episode that is a lot of fun and deals with a criminal that has stolen a suit that turns him invisible.  Following that is Requiem For A Super-Hero, another fun episode that deals with cyborg boxers and Lois’ relationship with her father.  I’ve Got a Crush on You is next and it sees Lois and Clark going undercover at a night club.  Lois sings.  Clark makes out with a criminal.  Everyone has a good time.  Finally, Smart Kids where…smart kids take over Metropolis.  It all turns out to be an evil plan by Lex and features the first honest to goodness shirt rip on the show.
