Episode 180: Zero Hour Part 1

Welcome to the one hundred and eightieth episode of From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast! This podcast has a simple premise; examine just about every Superman comic published between Man of Steel #1 in 1986 to Adventures of Superman #649 in 2006 in an informative and hopefully entertaining format.

Part index. Part commentary. Part history lesson. All podcast.

Here it is, folks! The one you have been waiting for.

Zero Hour: Crisis in Time!

This episode kicks off a six part look at Zero Hour with a prelude since putting all of this in the episode where Mike and Jeff talk about the first issue would have made for a four hours of audio. The coverage begins with Mike giving you the skinny on why Zero Hour happened in the first place. This is followed by Jeff giving you a suggested reading lists of stories that led up to the event and Mike telling you about three Legion related comics that continue into the crossover issues the boys will eventually be discussing. After a break Jeff comes back with the skinny on Showcase ’94 issues eight and nine, which featured the prelude story to Zero Hour. After that the boys hop into a cab, pay their $6.50 and head on over to the segment they like to call Meanwhile, At The Daily Planet.

You can subscribe to the show in two ways. First there is the RSS Feed and there is also the iTunes link. Are you on Facebook? Be sure to “like” the official FCTC page, which you can find by clicking on this link.
