Episode 14 — June 1939

Here in this episode of Golden Age Superman, I cover the two issues of Action Comics that were released in June.  (Why were there two?  Listen and all shall be made known!)  First, in Action Comics 14, Superman is lured into a trap by the Ultra-Humanite, who managed to survive last issue’s plane crash.  And Ultra sets the standard for all supervillain traps to come by making it way more convoluted and prone to fail than it needed to be.  Then in Action Comics 15, Superman goes hunting for treasure, hoping the gold from a sunken Spanish galleon will save a nearly bankrupt boys’ home.
