These stories see the Man of Steel taking on a plethora of foes, including towering giants, a murder wrap, carnival racketeers and the very justice system itself in his crusade as champion of the oppressed. It’s, perhaps, the best issue of SUPERMAN yet. Don’t miss out!

They wind up at the circus where the strongman, a behmoth named Herculo, is the prime suspect. But is there more to the robberies than meet the eye? Can Clark ferret out the true perpetrator before it’s too late? And what happens when Superman is challenged to a fight by Herculo himself?! Find out as Michael looks at the Superman story from ACTION COMICS #28.

A seemingly mundane incident is the catalyst for our story when Clark Kent interviews a recently successful businessman and finds him to be… bored. But, things make an upward turn as Superman takes on a dangerous new threat known only as “the Lamite” as Michael looks at the fifth storyline from the Sundays installments of the Superman newspaper strip. Beware of giant spiders.

The issue sees the Man of Steel taking on a variety of challenges as he attempts to clear Lois Lane’s name after she’s accused of murder, takes on racketeers and swindlers, and helps deliver aid to a earthquake-ravaged country. Plus, someone discovers that Superman and Clark Kent are one in the same. Can our hero stop the secret from getting out? All in a day’s work for Superman.

Finally! It’s back to the Sunday newspaper strip as Michael looks at the fourth storyline. Unfortunately, it’s a sub-par story overall. But, the good news is, there’s plenty of the action, intrigue and insanity we’ve come to love in Superman’s Golden Age adventures, as Clark Kent and Lois Lane (and Superman!) set out to aid a relief fund for a war-striken foreign nation.

Plus, more of Superman’s powers bubble to the surface and the guys uncover helpful hints on how to take over the world! (Hint: It involves not making statues of yourself to be use in your schemes.)
