THE SUPERMAN AND LOIS TAPES EPISODE 24: LAST SONS OF KRYPTON OR MIKE’S NOT CRYING YOU’RE CRYING

Episode 24: Last Sons of Krypton or Mike’s Not Crying, You’re Crying

The BAM Crew (Bethany, Alison, and Michael) are back to talk about the last episode of the first season of the CW series Superman and Lois.  Lasts Sons of Krypton was an action packed and emotional finale to the season and The Crew unpacks the episode by talking about how long it should take for a Kryptonian to be fully charged under a yellow sun, who had the best redemption arc, why the denouement worked so well, the moment Mike feared the show was going to do something that just about every other version of Superman has done in the past few years, why all of the actors that have played Superman for the past forty years all look alike, and more!

Bethany discusses who had The Most Punchable Face and The Crew teases what they are going to be talking about in the next episode.

Hint…it’s DragonCon.

The Superman and Lois Tapes can be found on both Apple Podcasts and Spotify. The show can be reached by email at [email protected].  You can also leave comments here or over at the Facebook page for the show, which you can get to by clicking this link.

  1. It was good to hear all of you in my earbuds again, and I am sooo very happy that none of you has contracted COVID.
As you all noted, this was a terrific season finale, tying up plot threads from the season, while leaving room for further developments in the future. Like you, I hope the show maintains its high standards in the coming season. I have faith, given this first season, that it will happen. The people involved, in the writers’ room, behind the camera, on camera, in post-production, and in other areas that I am not fully aware of, have presented a superior product. That doesn’t happen by accident, and I assume everyone has some pride of ownership.
I was surprised at the ending, with the arrival of the pod and the reveal of its occupant, and I’ll be interested to see how that is deal with in (I hope) the beginning of Season 2.
I have to add my candidate for Most Punchable Face: the mayor. He has not yet redeemed himself in any significant way, and, until he does, for me he will remain in the running.
I wish all of you much fun at DragonCon, and some rest and decompression afterwards. I’m very much looking forward to hearing you talk about that.
