This is it, folks…the MASSIVE 100TH EPISODE of FCTC!  Michael and Jeffrey have spared no expense to make this episode special and by no expense they mean…well…they haven’t spent a dime on this episode.  They did, however, get not one but TWO Superman creators to “sit down” and chat with them about the recent issues discussed on the show.  Returning to the program are DAN JURGENS and JERRY ORDWAY.  For over two hours (sorry, Dan!) Mr. Ordway and Mr. Jurgens answer questions about EXILE, TIME AND TIME AGAIN, PANIC IN THE SKY and more!  It was a fantastic couple of hours and both Jeffrey and Michael would like to thank Dan and Jerry for taking the time out of their schedules to participate in this interview.

Mike and Jeff finish off the Superman books with the May 1992 cover date this week in an episode that ran a little long.  There’s a good explanation too; these guys just can’t shut up, especially about trading cards and cereal.  Around all of that they talk about Adventures of Superman #490, Action Comics #677 and Justice League America #62.  There is also some discussion about what else happened in the DCU when these books were on the stands and they even read some e-mails.

It’s another long one this week, folks.  Not as long as last week but the episode does go over the two hour mark, so consider this your heads up on that sort of thing.

This week is historic, faithful listeners.  During cover date April 1992 Superman officially joined a certain super-team and to celebrate such a momentous event Mike and Jeff have brought back Jon M. Wilson to sit third chair and discuss not two but three comics!  In Justice League Spectacular #1 an amusement park is taken hostage leading to a whole bunch of heroes joining forces to take on the Royal Flush Gang.  The end result of all that?  The reformation of the Justice League!  Then in Action Comics #676 Hellgrammite finally makes his move on Lex Luthor II.  Finally, in Justice League America #61 Superman proves that he is the man before and while the team battles the Weapons Master.  After that the boys and guest discuss two more episodes of the Adventures of Superboy series and what other events were occurring in the DC Universe when these books were published.
