THE SUPERMAN AND LOIS TAPES EPISODE 2: “PILOT” OR SAM LANE’S PUNCHABLE FACE

Episode 2: “Pilot” or Sam Lane’s Punchable Face

In their second episode, Bethany, Alison, and Michael talk about the pilot episode of Superman and Lois, which was titled, “Pilot” and aired on February 23, 2021.  With all of the introductions wrapped up in the last episode the BAM crew jump right into their thoughts about the episode.  Bethany gives us a lesson on what a “fruit salad” is in terms of the military, Alison does the math on how old the kids were when Kara got to Earth, and Michael feels old at the mention of Clark going to a Soul Asylum concert.  Bethany reveals who has the most punchable face of the episode (it was a battle between Kyle and Sam) and Michael goes through the direct and indirect Easter Eggs tucked away in the episode and delivers the first Professor Bailey’s Superman 101 Lesson.

THE SUPERMAN AND LOIS TAPES EPISODE 1: PLEASE ALLOW US TO INTRODUCE OURSELVES

Episode 1: Please Allow Us To Introduce Ourselves

Welcome to the first episode of The Superman and Lois Tapes, a podcast dedicated to the CW series Superman and Lois.  Most episodes will be devoted to the latest episode of the series where the hosts (Bethany, Alison, and Michael) will talk about what they liked, what they didn’t like, and any Easter eggs that they happen to spot.

First episodes of podcasts are hard, so Bethany, Alison, and Michael overcome this by spending about an hour and change talking about why they wanted to do this show and what their backgrounds with Superman are.  Alison tells Michael all about Tyler Hoechlin’s acting career (because Michael doesn’t watch much television), Michael gives a few mini TEDTalks about Superman in the comics, and Bethany expands on the pros and cons of Clark and Lois having two sons instead of a son and daughter.  Other topics include the previous CW super-hero crossovers, the evolution of the DC CW shows, and Nightwing and Wally West are brought up as well.

This show is very new, so there won’t be any links to where you can subscribe to the show outside of the main Fortress of Bailetyude Podcasting Network feed.  The show does have an email address, which is thesupermanandloistapes@gmail.com.  You can also leave comments here or over at the Facebook page for the show, which you can get to by clicking this link.

Next Time: The BAM crew talks about the pilot episode and the 30 minutes special that will follow it.

IT ALL COMES BACK TO SUPERMAN EPISODE 19 – THE SUPERMAN PODCAST NETWORK REUNION

Episode 19 – The Superman Podcast Network Reunion

And lo there came a day…a day unlike any other…when a bunch of Superman Podcasts banded together from remote galaxies (okay…remote cities in America) to form The Superman Podcast Network.

That was ten years ago and while the Network is no longer a thing, I thought it might be fun to get the founders together and discuss how the Network came to be, how we all started our podcasts, and about Superman and what he means to us now.  Joining me are…

We had a lot of fun getting together, and I want to thank the guys for taking time out of their lives to join me for this conversation.

Next Time: I’m not sure, but I have some plans for later in the year)
