OVERLOOKED DARK KNIGHT EPISODE 57: SUPERMAN AND BATMAN GENERATIONS PART 2

Episode 57: Superman & Batman Generations Part 2

Welcome to the fifty-seventh episode of The Overlooked Dark Knight. The is a non-index index show where the hosts, Andrew Leyland and Michael Bailey, look at Batman comics that rarely, if ever, get talked about.

This time out Andy and Mike continue their four part look at the first and second Superman & Batman: Generations Elseworlds series by looking at the third and fourth issues of the first series.  Things go from bad to worse as Superman is attacked on what should be a happy occasion but turns into a bloodbath.  Batman gets all sulky.  Superman is sent to prison.  Superman doesn’t understand personal boundries.  The story stretches from 1929 to 1979 to 1989 to 1999 to the far, far future.  It’s all very exciting.

Below is a gallery of the covers and select pages from the comics discussed during this episode.
