Barring acts of God and other unforeseen circumstances that tend to happen to me and mine here’s what I will be doing tonight.
To say that I have really been looking forward to this movie is a bit of an understatement. Even though it proved to be unnecessary I woke up early on May 18th to buy these tickets. Sure I was the only one waiting for over an hour in the electronics department. Sure only one other person got in line behind me a few minutes before the tickets went on sale. Sure the people behind the counter looked at me kind of funny. It didn’t matter. The tickets were mine and with everything else I have had to give up over the past month seeing the film a day early was important to me.
Oh…when I bought the tickets they gave me this nifty little packet.
The digital comic was very cool, mostly because it had art by Jerry Ordway. I didn’t watch the episodes of the animated series because I own the box sets and I usually prefer to watch such things on my television and not my computer. I have yet to pre-order the Blu-Ray but then again I don’t own a Blu-Ray player so it doesn’t seem like something I just gots to do.
So yeah…after two years of waiting I will be seeing the movie tonight.
Hopefully…I have to admit I am kind of nervous that something bad is going to happen. Fingers crossed and all that.
