Yup, remember this house ad as well. Much like the Brainiac post from earlier, this was “my” Superman from when I was reading the book. Classic look but with the longer hair. So many fond memories of going to the comic shop and picking up a pile of Superman comics! Those were the days.
I’ve been in love with that cover art ever since I first laid eyes on it. The variant cover for AOS 505 is decent but the standard cover had so much power and majesty to it. It really captured what it felt like being a Superman fan back before he was in permanent need of Visine.
