Welcome to the fifty-second episode of The Overlooked Dark Knight. The is a non-index index show where the hosts, Andrew Leyland and Michael Bailey, look at Batman comics that rarely, if ever, get talked about.
This time out Andy and Mike continue their way through the Batman: Under The Hood trade paperback by looking at Batman issues 639 thru 641 and 645. The Red Hood continues to work his way through the underworld of Gotham and has a serious run in with Onyx. Batman has conversations with Zatanna and Green Arrow that tie into other events going on the DCU that make sense if you know what’s going on but are puzzling if you don’t. Batman also meets up with Superman and Mike has a serious problem with one of Batman’s comments.
Below are the covers and select pages from the comics discussed during this episode.
