Welcome to the sixty-fifth episode of The Overlooked Dark Knight. The is a non-index index show where the hosts, Andrew Leyland and Michael Bailey, look at Batman comics that rarely, if ever, get talked about.
This time out Andy and Mike discuss Punisher/Batman: Deadly Knights, the second Puniser/Batman team-up, though it is the first time that the Bruce Wayne Batman meets FrankCastle because it was Jean-Paul Valley that worked with Frank the first time. The guys talk about their experiences with the Punisher, their opinions on his actions, the story in question, and how Batman just keeps owning the Punisher in hand-to-hand combat. They also have a good chat about the writing of Chuck Dixon and their opnion on his work with the Bat Family.
Below are the covers and select pages from the comic discussed during this epiosde.
