What Is This Show About?
Michael and Andy had been friends for years before starting this show and wanted to do a show together. They both like Batman. They both like talking about Batman. This seemed like a no-brainer.
For the most part, Andy and Mike discuss Batman stories that don’t get a lot of attention, hence the name of the podcast. They call it a non-index, index show because while they traditionally go through various runs of various Batman titles in an indexing format, they don’t have a set mandate. The bulk of the shows have been about Batman comics published in the late seventies and the various comics published to tie into the Batman animated series from the nineties. Other shows have been dedicated to celebrating anniversaries and there are even some commentaries.
This is a very laid-back show. Mike and Andy do this because they like recording together and because they want to have some fun.
